* Dr Siana to discuss with Prof Happi to look at the cost of Genotyping in Tanzania and Nigeria. Dr Siana will send Prof Happi an email inviting him to a meeting which will include representatives from each site.
* Dr Fehintola Ajogbasile will lead the development of the consortium level application and have representatives from SPARCO Hub, Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria who will be part of the microbiome group which will be consortium level project 2.
* Dr Fehintola Ajogbasile will look for independent funding in order to get the grant to conduct the study.
* Dr Fehintola Ajogbasile will liaise with Prof Biobele Brown because he has experience on a number of projects that have been written together across the consortium.
* Dr Siana and Prof Biobele Brown will share their experience with Dr Fehintola with regards to enrollment.
* The proposal will look at 500 patients from each site.
* Prof Julie Makani suggested that a proposal be written to request use of this existing data that is available.
* Reach out to PIs of the various studies to see if they would be willing to share the data.
* Prof Julie suggested that SPARCO Hub, Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria for a group for Hemoglobin Phenotype.
* Research Coordinators and PIs to nominate people to join these 4 projects. Each study should have a minimum of 4 members.
