2023 Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity

The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity is a one-year non-residential fellowship program offered by the George Washington University.

The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity program is based at the Fitzhugh Mullan institute for Health WorkForce Equity. The program is
- one year US/global fellowship based at the George Washington University in Washington DC
- Open to early-mid career leaders involved in work related to health
-10 US and 10 international fellows per year

Who should apply
- want to become global leaders in the elimination of health disparities
- are early to mid-career
- are currently involved in health related work
- are currently in leadership or a position that has potential for leadership
- value diverse perspectives
- enjoy working in groups

The fellows will be expected to:
- attend 4 in person convening throughout the year = a 5 week time commitment
- participate in the online curriculum that includes 1) bi-weekly online 90 minute classes 2) individualised coaching 3)peer-mentoring, and 4) team-based learning = 12-16 hours/month
Note: All educational experiences and travel expenses related to participation in the fellowship will be covered by the program.
